NEW YORK (1010 WINS) – Video released Friday by police shows two men slashing, punching and robbing a man in a broad-daylight street skirmish just feet away from children in Brooklyn.

The confrontation broke out at Bedford Avenue and Fulton Street in Bedford-Stuyvesant around 3:45 p.m. on April 18.
Police said a 32-year-old man was slashed in the neck with a cutting instrument by two men who stole his jacket, backpack and camera.

Video shows the victim in a fighting stance with one of the men, who appears to be holding a box cutter. The second man comes up from behind and punches the victim in the back of his head.
A man and woman with two kids and a baby stroller dash for cover as the victim is slashed just feet away from them.

The victim was taken to Kings County Hospital for treatment.
The two suspects fled the scene with his belongings, police said.
