NEW YORK (1010 WINS) -- People were seen celebrating in the streets and heard cheering from apartment balconies in New York City on Saturday after multiple news outlets projected Joe Biden will win the presidency.
Videos from across the city show crowds applauding on sidewalks, dancing in parks and blasting music. People could be heard screaming, banging pans and honking horns.

Hundreds of people gathered in and around Times Square and more were outside Trump Tower and Trump International Hotel.
Rallies in support of Biden planned for the afternoon were already expected to draw crowds.
