VIDEO: Great balls of fire! Brooklyn rapper jumps on top of MTA bus and blasts flamethrower

NEW YORK (1010 WINS) -- Talk about being all fired up!

Brooklyn rapper Dupree G.O.D earlier this month leapt from the top of an ice cream truck to the top of a B26 bus in Bedford–Stuyvesant -- and then proceeded to blast a flamethrower, shooting flames several feet into the air. He then pointed the flamethrower at the ground, shooting flames at the street. When the bus -- which was carrying 25 passengers -- starts to move, he jumps off.

Dupree G.O.D. said he was shooting a video that was a tribute to Staten Island hip hop group Wu-Tang Clan, according to his social media.

Whatever the reason is, the NYPD and MTA aren't happy about it.

The NYPD said it is aware of the video and is investigating.

MTA spokesman Ted Minton didn't mince words.

"We don't even need to say how absurd, dangerous and just plain stupid this was," Minton said. "The reckless individual who torched over the top of an occupied bus put New Yorkers, including the bus operator, in life-threatening peril. We are grateful the courageous actions of the operator in moving riders to safety minimized risk, and are cooperating fully with the NYPD investigation."
