VIDEO: Robber flees on deliveryman's scooter in Brooklyn

NEW YORK (1010 WINS) — Police are looking for a man who threatened and forced a 53-year-old deliveryman to the ground before stealing his E-bike in Brooklyn last Sunday.

The violent altercation happened in front of 739 Dumont Ave. in East New York around 8 p.m.

According to police, the suspect approached the victim as he made a delivery and simulated a weapon while demanding money.

The man then forcibly remove a set of keys from the victim and fled on the victim's E-bike to parts unknown.

Cops said the victim sustained a cut to the hand but refused medical attention at the scene.

The value of the E-bike is around $1,700.

The suspect is in his mid-30s, with a thin build, black hair with braids, and was last seen wearing a mustard/yellow colored hoodie, dark colored shorts, multi-color sneakers, sunglasses on his forehead and carrying a multi-colored bag around his chest.
