NEW YORK (1010 WINS) – A woman went on an anti-Asian rant and slapped another woman across the face as she sat outside a Lower East Side business on Wednesday evening, police said.

It’s among the latest attacks on Asian New Yorkers as the city sees a spike in hate crimes.

The 25-year-old victim was sitting in front of 279 Grand St. around 7:35 p.m. when the woman came up and spewed anti-Asian remarks at her, police said.
