NEW YORK (1010 WINS) -- Hope you didn't get too comfortable with the warm weather. The Department of Buildings issued a weather advisory warning of high winds and thunder showers in New York City from Saturday to Monday.
The department predicted gusts of up to 35 miles per hour and forecasters warn of a drop in temperature through early next week.

Gusty thundershowers are expected Saturday, and temperatures should drop into the 20s and 30s on Sunday. Monday will be even colder, the New York State Weather Service says.

Property owners should bring loose objects like lawn furniture and potted plants inside and secure heavier objects like grills or propane tanks.
