NEW YORK (1010 WINS) -- It comes as little surprise that Andy Cohen is a pretty entertaining guy when he's under the influence of cannabis.
"Andy is a lot of fun high," the "Watch What Happens Live" host's close friend, actress/comedian Amy Sedaris, told 1010 WINS Tuesday at Union Square Travel Agency, where she spent 90 minutes at the legal cannabis dispensary as a guest "travel agent." "He really is like a little monkey and he gets really silly. He has a short attention span and sometimes maybe he'll focus a little bit more, but he's more into tincture lately." (Tinctures are concentrated herbal extracts made from plants and used as herbal medicine.)
As for Justin Theroux, another celeb friend of hers, Sedaris said, "Justin doesn't like to get high. He makes fun of me. He's like uggg. So it's funny people who really poo-poo it."
Sedaris, who lives in downtown Manhattan, said she hasn't gotten high with friend Natasha Lyonne, "but, boy, I bet she would be fun."
Sedaris tended to the massive line Tuesday night that formed around the corner outside Union Square Travel Agency on Broadway at 13th Street near Union Square. She offered up suggestions with her trademark humor to the delight of customers. who stocked up on flower, pre-rolls, edibles and other products. Sedaris said she prefers flower, because "I just like old school."

Sedaris said when she's high, she's "just bursting with ideas. I guess I'm an ideas person ... and then the next day you're like, 'Oh, that's a stoner idea.'"
She added, "But I don't perform high ever! I mean, I have, but it involves zero words, or I don't have to talk or anything like that, but I like coming up with good ideas."
Last spring, Sedaris teamed up with a Hillshire Farms for a campaign where she named a sandwich after herself (the "Hamy Sedarwich") and Cohen (the "Andy Coham.").
So what about doing the same thing with cannabis?
"I'd be perfect to have my own strain, wouldn't I? "It would be called 'Real Silly Real Fast' and it would definitely be a Sativa." (Sativa primarily has an energizing effect).

One of Sedaris' first jobs was working at a Winn-Dixie supermarket, so would teenaged Sedaris have preferred to be a "budtender" rather than working at the grocery store?
"You know, I would have to do Winn-Dixie to do a job like this," she said. "I loved cashiering. Now cashiering is about the scanner. The minute scanning came in, I stopped."
