
NEW YORK (1010 WINS/WCBS 880) – A woman was fatally run over by a car during a domestic dispute in Brooklyn on Thursday night, sources said Friday as police searched for the driver.
The 24-year-old victim was in a domestic dispute with another woman around 7:30 p.m. at 1210 Loring Ave. in East New York when the argument turned deadly, according to sources.
The second woman got into a car and mowed down the victim before driving off, sources said. The relationship between the two women is unclear.
The victim was found on the street with severe trauma to her head and body, according to police.
EMS rushed her to Brookdale University Hospital Medical Center, but she did not survive her injuries.
Her identity has been withheld as her family is notified.
Investigators were searching for a gray 2008 Mercury with New York plates, sources said.
No arrests have been reported as of Friday.
