NEW YORK (1010 WINS) – A 66-year-old woman was shoved into a parked subway train in an apparently random attack at a Queens station this week, police said Thursday as they released surveillance images of a suspect.
The victim was on the northbound E-line platform at the Jackson Heights–Roosevelt Avenue/74th Street station around 11:45 p.m. on Sunday when a woman pushed her, police said.
The shove sent the victim falling into the safety chains of a train that was stopped at the station, according to police.

EMS responded to the scene and the victim was taken to Queens Hospital Center for an abrasion to her knee and swelling to her ankle.
Police believe the suspect is about 25 years old.
Anyone with information is asked to call Crime Stoppers at 1-800-577-TIPS.
