NEW YORK (1010 WINS) – Police are searching for a purse-snatcher who grabbed a 72-year-old woman’s handbag in Manhattan before she chased him off earlier this month.
The NYPD released images Monday of the man they’re after in the Dec. 16 mugging at West 190th Street and Cabrini Boulevard in Hudson Heights.
He allegedly approached the woman around 5:10 p.m. and ripped the bag from her.
But the victim chased after him, prompting him to drop the bag and flee the area on foot, police said.
The victim was not injured in the robbery, according to police.
