NEW YORK (1010 WINS) — An elderly woman was seriously injured after she was hit by a driver on Saturday in Queens, The New York Post reported
The 89-year-old victim was crossing the street when she was struck by the 37-year-old driver who was exiting a parking lot on 48th Street at Northern Boulevard in Woodside around 2:40 p.m., police said.
The victim was taken to a nearby hospital in critical condition, cops said.
Police said the driver remained at the scene. The investigation is ongoing.
