NEW YORK (1010 WINS) -- The NYPD has taken a teen into custody after a woman was grazed by a bullet Monday night in the Bronx, officials said.
According to police, around 10:25 p.m., the 26-year-old woman was in the of kitchen her apartment on Washington Avenue near East 180th Street in the Belmont neighborhood when the teen fired the gun in the apartment next door.
The victim was grazed in the arm by the stray bullet and taken to St. Barnabas Hospital with a non-life-threatening injury, officials said.
An investigation is ongoing.
