NEW YORK (1010 WINS) – A 26-year-old woman fell to her death from a Manhattan building—the second woman to die in a fall from a building in the borough in less than a week.

Officers responding to a 911 call found Tyler Thorpe unresponsive behind 237 E. 28 St., near Second Avenue in Kips Bay, shortly before 1 a.m. on Friday, police said.

Thorpe, of the Bronx, had injuries indicative of a fall, police said. She was pronounced dead at the scene.

The medical examiner will determine her cause of death.

A friend told police that she and Thorpe were going to the roof at the time of the fall, according to the Daily News.

Thorpe's death comes less than a week after Cameron Perrelli, 24, died in a fall from a rooftop in the East Village last Saturday morning.
