NEW YORK (1010 WINS/WCBS 880) – The NYPD on Wednesday released a photo of a woman wanted for spraying on-duty MTA worker in the eyes at Bronx station early Monday, authorities said.

It happened at approximately 3:40 a.m. at the Van Cortland Park subway station in Fieldston, officials said.


According to police, the suspect approached a 44-year-old worker and sprayed her with an unknown substance while she was cleaning the station.

The victim sustained injuries to her eyes.

EMS transported the woman to New York-Presbyterian Allen Hospital in stable condition.

The suspect fled outside of the train station to parts unknown.
