HACKETTSTOWN, N.J. (1010 WINS ) -- Police arrested a man Thursday morning after he was found sitting on the hood of a New Jersey police car with a meth pipe, authorities said.
At approximately 10:59 a.m., an officer entered the parking lot of the Hackettstown Police Department and observed a man sitting on the hood of an unmarked police vehicle.
The officer approached the man, who was later identified as Cody Zeigler, 27, and he was saying "just take me to jail", according to officials.
Zeigler then pointed to a pipe that contained suspected methamphetamine residue that he put on the hood of the police vehicle.
Zeigler was arrested and charged with possession of methamphetamine, possession of drug paraphernalia, and disorderly conduct.
He was then lodged in the Warren County Correctional Center pending a court appearance.
