WAYNE, N.J. (1010 WINS) — A man was charged this week with taking upskirt photos of a woman in the changing room of a store in the Willowbrook Mall, authorities said.
The woman told police she was in a changing room at the H&M store at the mall in Wayne on Oct. 25, 2022, when she noticed a phone held under the privacy curtain as someone took pictures of her, NJ.com reported.
The woman screamed, and the person fled, police said. A friend of the victim chased the suspect, but he jumped into a black SUV and fled the mall parking lot.
After a lengthy investigation, Wayne police identified the suspect as a 40-year-old man from Bloomingdale.
He was charged Wednesday with third-degree invasion of privacy and released on a summons to appear in court, police said.
