The naked man’s crime spree started at a parking lot in Absecon where 37-year-old Michael David allegedly got into a car being driven by a juvenile without permission. Davis then ordered the young driver to take him to Clayton Mill Run apartment complex. At the destination, Davis assaulted the victim before fleeing the vehicle with the driver’s cellphone, authorities said.

At the apartment complex, Davis continued to wreak havoc. He first broke into the home of a woman and her two children but they fled the apartment unharmed while Davis was inside, police said.

After leaving the first apartment, Davis scaled a second story balcony to another apartment where a woman and her infant child were inside. He began to try and assault the woman but she was able to fend him off which caused him to flee, officials said.

Davis then tried to hide when police arrived. An officer was able to locate him but he refused to surrender, instead leading the cops on a foot chase before he was eventually arrested.

Davis was charged with burglary, aggravated criminal sexual contact, lewdness, endangering the welfare of a child and other crimes.
