PATERSON, N.J. (1010 WINS) — Authorities indicted a New Jersey man for allegedly sexually abusing a child over a six-year period, the Passaic County Prosecutor's Office said Tuesday.
Gilberto Lopez-Rodriguez, 43, was indicted on multiple counts of aggravated sexual assault, sexual assault, endangering the welfare of a child, criminal sexual contact and aggravated criminal sexual contact, according to officials.
Lopez-Rodriguez allegedly sexually abused the child at multiple residences in Paterson from February 2014 to February 2015, and then again in January 2020.
He is currently being held at the Passaic County Jail. If convicted, Lopez-Rodriguez can face up to life in prison.
