OLD BRIDGE, N.J. (1010 WINS) — Police arrested a 61-year-old Pennsylvania woman on Thursday for fatally shooting a 65-year-old Old Bridge woman last week.
Prosecutors accused Elizabeth Jackson of Yeadon, a suburb of Philadelphia, of murdering Deborah Brown-Hepworth.
Officials said the two women knew each other, but did not elaborate on their relationship.
A relative found Brown-Hepworth unresponsive with a gunshot wound in her home on Sept. 17 around 11:05 a.m., according to authorities.
Jackson faces a first-degree murder charge and a second-degree weapons possession charge.
