NEW YORK (1010 WINS) -- Vice President Kamala Harris will travel to New Jersey on Friday, visiting Newark and Montclair, her office said Tuesday.
No details of her itinerary have been provided by her office yet, but NJ.com reported that Harris will promote getting vaccinated. She will also promote the spending bill, specifically the child care aspect to it.
Biden visited the Garden State last month to survey damage from Hurricane Ida.
Harris also has familial ties to New Jersey: Brooklyn-born Second Gentleman Douglas Emhoff grew up in Matawan and Old Bridge Township from 1969 to 1981, and attended the now-shuttered Cedar Ridge High School.
