NEW YORK (1010 WINS) -- A Long Island man was arrested on Thursday night for manufacturing ghost guns out of his home, according to the Suffolk Police Department.
Brandon Marquez, 23, was allegedly driving a 2020 Acura on Brentwood Road, when cops pulled him over for a traffic stop for driving with an expired registration at around 10:20 p.m.
Officers then found an illegal weapon on him along with a large capacity magazine.
He was arrested for criminal manufacture of multiple firearms and possession of multiple guns and ammunition.

Further investigation and a search of Marquez's home in Central Islip resulted in the seizure of two assault rifles with magazines, a 3D printer with a computer, six ghost gun type receivers (frames), a quantity of ammunition, and 3D printing material, according to police.
Marquez was charged with criminal manufacture of an undetectable firearm, criminal possession of an undetectable firearm, criminal possession of a weapon, and criminal possession of a large capacity magazine.
