
NEW YORK (1010 WINS) — Two men were arrested for making a bomb threat to a Hudson Valley Walmart over the weekend, authorities announced Wednesday.
On Sunday, March 9, Ramapo Police received a report of a bomb threat at a Walmart located in the Village of Airmont.
Witnesses informed responding officers that two men had entered the store and conveyed that they had a bomb, officials said.
The men exited the location prior to police arrival but prompted an evacuation of the building and a coordinated response from multiple law enforcement agencies.
The building was searched by K9s specializing in explosive detection and no explosive was found.
Following an Investigations, police were able to identify the two suspects and they were arrested on Wednesday.
Both Francky Charles, 21, from Spring Valley, N.Y. and Roosevelt Depas, 22, from Nyack, N.Y. were charged with making a terroristic threat.
They were arraigned and released without bail pending future court appearances.
