SMITHTOWN, N.Y. (1010 WINS) — A Suffolk County man was arrested early Wednesday for driving while intoxicated after he allegedly drove the wrong way and then stole beer from a gas station.

Lance Broussand, 37, was driving a 2020 Hyundai Elantra eastbound in the westbound lanes of Veterans Memorial Highway, then stopped a Smithtown Speedway, where he stole two cases of beer, police said.
