Adoree’ Jackson wants you – or at least Sal Licata – to doubt the Giants.
During the veteran cornerback’s weekly WFAN appearance with Brandon Tierney & Sal Licata, the latter asked him if starting Washington Commanders wide receiver Terry McLaurin was the right move in fantasy this week against the Giants.
“You can start him,” Jackson said. “I’d rather you go against us. It’s much better for us.”
Jackson, who says he is doing fine physically after leaving Sunday's game at one point, does not yet know if he’ll be the one covering McLaurin. He is, however, welcoming more competition heading into Week 7, although it is not as if the Giants need any extra motivation against their NFC East foe.
The team now stands at 1-5 despite a more encouraging performance against the Bills. And while the season seems to be slipping away after just six weeks, Jackson is hoping they can build off the positives.
“We can build off [Sunday] and you say ‘must win’ and that’s what we feel all games are, but this being a division game, for sure,” Jackson said. “Just have to execute and get the job done. The little wins we had last game implement in the game plan this week and hopefully get the W.”
