“I have seen enough to know that I have seen too much!”

One of many great lines from the radio announcer in “A League of Their Own,” and one that makes sense given that today’s Moment of the Day comes from the crew’s thoughts that Mets radio voice Wayne Randazzo could easily have been a play-by-play guy in the 1940s.

“If they ever do a sequel, he could be the star,” Jerry said of Randazzo’s tone, to which Gio brought out an impression of World War II Wayne set to some swing music.

“Marla Hooch, what a hitter! Oh that Dottie Hinson, best player in the league! And there’s her sister Kit, decent pitcher. Get yourself a Harvey Bar at the concession stand!”

Jerry was amazed that Gio could so easily remember most of the characters’ names from the film (and rightfully so, because it’s a classic) – and this last one-liner when asked about Madonna’s character.

“All the way Mae, meaning that she’s easy!”
