Further, NBA insider Shams Charania Tweeted there is a “strong possibility for Arcidiacono to stick for the season,” as the Knicks are currently without Derrick Rose for another month or two after ankle surgery.

Arcidiacono has spent this season with the Celtics’ G-League affiliate, the Maine Celtics, averaging 12.7 points and 8.0 assists while shooting 49.1 percent from the field (including a 44 percent mark from beyond the arc).

The Villanova product was undrafted in 2016, and after spending that season with the G-League’s Austin Spurs, he spent 2017-21 with the Bulls, averaging 4.8 points and 2.2 assists per game in 207 contests. His best season was 2018-19, when he played in 81 of 82 games and averaged 6.7 points.
