Ryan Arcidiacono has literally not played a single minute for the Knicks this year…but he’s going to be sticking around for the rest of it.
Arcidiacono has been signed to a contract with the Knicks for the remainder of the season, locking down the 15th and final spot on the full roster. The Athletic first reported the signing, which was confirmed by Joel Bell, Arcidiacono’s agent, to SNY over the weekend, and he is listed on the team’s official roster page once again as of Monday.

Arcidiacono had previously signed a pair of 10-day deals with the team, the first on Jan. 6 and the second on Jan. 19, but did not see any game action on either of those contracts. If and when he does play, he would become the 22nd player (at least) to suit up for the Knicks this season.
The Villanova product was undrafted in 2016 and signed with the Spurs, but was released before the season and spent that year with the Austin Spurs in the G-League. He would go on to spend 2017-21 with the Bulls, appearing in 207 games over four seasons (plus 37 more for the G-League’s Windy City Bulls), averaging 4.8 points and 2.2 assists in 17.6 minutes per game.
Arcidiacono began 2021-22 in the Celtics’ organization, playing three games for the G-League Maine Celtics before signing his deals with the Knicks, for whom he has yet to play.
While it may seem curious that the team signed him full-time after not playing over two 10-day deals, the Knicks are still without Derrick Rose and have four players either out or questionable for Monday’s game due to injury.
