The NHL has announced the schedule for the Islanders-Lightning Stanley Cup Semifinal series, which notably sees Game 4 set to puck drop at 8 p.m. on Saturday, June 19, at the Nassau Coliseum.
The only problem with that? While Matt Martin is suiting up in what could be a pivotal game, his entire extended family – including his wife, Sydney Esiason Martin – will be hundreds of miles away in New England, attending the nuptials of one Gunnar Esiason.
So what’s a Boom-pa to do: his son’s wedding vs. his son-in-law’s career?
Obviously, Boomer will be attending his son’s wedding, but could there maybe be a TV playing the game at the venue? Such a big conundrum that even Moose & Maggie weighed in…
Of course, all of this is assuming that Boomer, perhaps THE number one Rangers fan on Earth, is rooting for the Islanders, choosing blood (sorta) over blue…
Don’t worry, Booms, your secret is safe with us, but we just have one question: who’s watching Winnie Doo-Doo?
