Megan Fox has been doing some reminiscing.
Fox was in NYC to discuss her new book of poetry, “Pretty Boys Are Poisonous,” and touched on a variety of topics during an audience question and answer session, according to PEOPLE.
One inquisitive fan wanted to know what advice the 37-year-old actress would give her 22-year-old self.
“I would have lived out my Leonardo DiCaprio phase,” Fox jokingly replied. “I’d have dated all those little TikTok boys.”
Fox continued, saying one can’t change the past and how everything she has been through brought her to where she is today. If anything, she’d tell younger Megan to give herself more “grace.”
“I should be more kind to myself,” she said.
The “Jennifer’s Body” actress also discussed her early career in Hollywood and “fighting” with movie studios and the media in what she called a “losing battle.”
However, Fox said she’s grown after working through those periods of her life.
“I’m more helpful to other people after I heal myself,” she said.
