Legendary skateboarder, Tony Hawk, revealed this week that he suffered one of the worst injuries of his career, a broken femur. The 53-year old was skating when the accident happened, according to TMZ.
Hawk noted the irony of the accident happening on the eve of the trailer release of the upcoming HBO documentary, “Until The Wheels Fall Off,” which focuses on. his life & career.

Hawk is determined to skate again, but is facing a longer recovery due to his age. Until that time comes where he can get back on a board, "Until The Wheels Fall Off" will premiere on April 5th on HBO Max.
