Clyde Stubblefield's drumsticks are in the Rock & Roll Hall of Fame, but so far Clyde is not.
That is something that should definitely be remedied, according to filmmaker Trevor Banks.
Banks, who has been working on a documentary, Give The Drummer Some, about Clyde Stubblefield for years, has launched an effort to get the late drummer the recognition he deserves. Stubblefield was a member of James Brown's band and one of the most sampled drummers in the world. He made Madison his home for years, and passed away in 2017.
