OWINGS MILLS --- It has been a weekend of waiting to see who would claim Terrell Suggs after Arizona waived him on Friday.  He started in 13 games with the Cardinals and has 5.5 sacks on the season.  While Baltimore fans were hopeful for Suggs to be reunited with the Ravens, "Sizzle" will be heading to Kansas City.

The Ravens have clinched the playoffs and the AFC North Division Title.  In order to clinch a first round and homefield advantage Patriots had to lose against the Bengals and the Chiefs had to either lose or tie against the Broncos on Sunday.  Now, Baltimore needs one more win to claim the No. 1 seed and home-field advantage throughout the playoffs.  The Ravens are hopeful that that next win comes in Cleveland against the Browns where they fell to them in a devastating loss (40-25).

We already saw Suggs Week 3 when the Cardinals lost to the Ravens at M&T Bank Stadium Week 3.  He recorded just one solo tackle that game.

With the win over NYJ, the BALTIMORE @Ravens are officially the AFC North division champions.Updated BALTIMORE scenarios going forward:ANY Loss by either NE or KC gives BAL 1st Rd ByeBAL will secure #1 seed with ANY BAL WIN (wk 16 or 17) OR at least 1 loss each for NE & KC https://t.co/0PrmYzXeqD

If the season ended today…the Chiefs would be the No. 3 seed with the Patriots (#2) and the Ravens (#1) ahead of them.  Kansas City clinched the AFC West title Week 14 with their win against the Patriots.  One of the only chances that the Ravens see the Chiefs would be in the AFC Championship game, at M&T Bank Stadium.  That is if Kansas City beats the wild card team, which right now looks like the Pittsburgh Steelers, and beat the Patriots in the divisional round.  That also means, The Ravens win out to make it the AFC Championship.

The Chiefs play in Chicago for Sunday Night Football this Sunday.
