One person is dead following a shooting at an Upstate apartment complex. The Abbeville Police Department responded to a reported shooting at the Oakland Apartments around 12:30 AM Tuesday. Upon arrival, a man was found suffering from a gunshot wound to the chest.
The victim identified as 26 year old, Jahvious Devonta Strong-Smith died from his injuries. The incident remains under investigation by the Abbeville PD and no arrests have been announced as of the time if this report
