One person is dead after a shooting at a park in Western North Carolina, Monday night. The Henderson County Sheriff's Office responded to a reported shooting at Dana Park in the Flat Rock area, just before 11:30PM.
Upon arrival, deputies found a victim suffering from a gunshot wound. The victim was later pronounced dead at the scene. The identity of the victim has not been released and no arrests have been announced, at this time.
The shooting remains under investigation. No further details have been released, as of the time of this report.
