9/11 Remembrance Ceremony

Join us for the Kansas City Metropolitan Area Annual 9/11 Remembrance Ceremony on Thursday, September 11th, 2025, at the First Responder’s Memorial at Mount Olivet Cemetery (7601 Blue Ridge Blvd., Kansas City, MO). Beginning at 5:30 PM, the American Legion Band will perform a stirring tribute, followed by the official ceremony at 6:00 PM. This solemn event offers the community a meaningful opportunity to honor the lives lost on 9/11 and to express gratitude to our dedicated first responders from Kansas City, Raytown, and Lee’s Summit. Please join us as we come together in unity and remembrance—“We will never forget.”
