Canada is letting us back in, but don't mess it up

Just don't act like a dummy because they aren't messing around

After almost seventeen months of closure, the imaginary line between the United States and Canada reopened to vaccinated travelers headed north. Waived are the two week quarantine times spent festering away in a Canadian hotel.

This is just in time for a brand new rivalry between the soon to launch Seattle Kraken hockey team who make their NHL debut in October and Vancouver Canucks (live-sports restrictions permitting). Also, with everything going in the right direction eventually, the resumption of live music and arts could be a great reason to pop over the border for some fun.

There are some pretty big restrictions that you can read about here, including up to $750,000 in fines for falsifying or being shady about your vaccination status or as much as six-months in jail! Though I imagine their not-for profit Canadian jails aren't as scary as the ones to their south...

People who can't get the vaccine can still come in, but you'll just have to abide by the previous set of standards which is pretty much just working remotely from your hotel room for like two weeks before you can enjoy your Timbits in person.
