AFI wasted no time giving more new music to their fans.
The veteran rockers dropped their eleventh studio album Bodies back in June as it marked their first new studio album since 2017. While fans may have been accustomed to waiting, AFI wanted to make sure this was not the case.

AFI dropped a new song called “Caught,” a track that was recorded during the Bodies sessions, but ultimately didn’t make the final cut.
“We were really happy with ‘Caught’ and planned for it to be on the Bodies album,” singer Davey Havok said in a press release. “We ended up cutting it at the last minute to allow for a better album flow, but still really loved the song.”
The song is a more mellow song than what we’re used to hearing from AFI. Even though there’s no drumming found on it, drummer Adam Carson was pretty bummed out when it didn’t make the album.
“Even though I didn’t play on it at all, I felt that it was a really good song and would be important on the record,” he said. “I was crushed when it didn’t make the cut, so I’m happy we are releasing it now.”
AFI is gearing up for a lengthy 2022 tour that will kick off on February 11th in San Diego. The trek takes the band across the country throughout February and March as they’re set to wrap things up on March 25th in Los Angeles.
