Mastriano Wins Poll against McCormick as Potential Republican Senate Bid
Today, Dom led off the Dom Giordano Program by discussing comments made by DeSantis, Trump, and Pence to Tucker Carlson about our involvement in Ukraine, focusing on DeSantis’s comments, explaining why he believes the prospective Presidential candidate has taken a big step forward with his stance after not being very clear in the past. In the commentary, though, DeSantis refers to the war as a ‘territorial dispute,’ which sets off Left media, claiming now that DeSantis is doing the bidding for Vladimir Putin.
Then Dom brings things to a local level, responding to an email he received where he was called out for his continued condemnation of Doug Mastriano as a Senate candidate.
Then, Dom welcomes in Fox Business Reporter Charlie Gasparino onto the Dom Giordano Program to discuss the very turbulent market after a weekend in which two banks collapsed, including Silicon Valley Bank, a bank that largely funds investors in the tech industry. Charlie explains what has happened through the day on Wall Street, and explains what he thinks the federal government will do to help simmer the markets and the continued skyrocketing inflation.
Josh Shapiro Continues Using Son to Justify Stance on Death Penalty
In today’s second hour, Dom welcomes Central Bucks School District President Dana Hunter back onto the Dom Giordano Program to discuss a story posted recently on Broad+Liberty that examines the media coverage of her school district, determining that many times, reporters state that the board is ‘anti-LGBT’ while frequently ignoring the district’s perspective. Hunter takes us inside the target of these reports, being the district’s new policy on books displaying sexual imagery, explaining why this is not anti-LGBT nor are they outright banning books, telling why she hopes the policy does indeed produce inclusivity.
Then, Dom welcomes Pennsylvania Representative Joseph D’Orsie (R-York) onto the Dom Giordano Program to discuss a new bill he authored, HB179, which would ban ‘bias response teams’ at Universities and limit high security fees for controversial speakers, also enabling somebody whose free speech rights have been infringed to take action against the University.
D’Orsie explains what he hopes to accomplish with this bill, explaining the continued bias presented on University campuses and how these alleged ‘response teams’ would not reduce but instead further increase bias, particularly against conservative ideals.
Should Priests Be Allowed to Marry?
In today’s third hour, Dom leads off the Dom Giordano Program by reflecting on a New Jersey conservative conference that he spoke at over the weekend, discussing what topics are most important to New Jersey voters. This leads Dom into a conversation about the dead whales washing ashore in Philadelphia, with Dom bringing to a light a story by Amy Rosenberg over at the Inquirer, who wrote about ‘conspiracy theories’ that the construction of wind farms are to blame. Dom takes issue with this stance, explaining how he believes it only serves to silence one side of the debate, attempting to alienate questions about whether Democrats and wind companies are to blame.
Then, Dom continues the hour by discussing a new push by the Pope to allow for Holy people, including Priests and Nuns, to marry, breaking long Catholic tradition, which Dom explains he agrees with. That causes him to continue with a discussion on religion, playing back a clip of Joe Biden who said that the push back on transgendered individuals as ‘sinful,’ to which Dom takes issue.
