The Final Day Of The Trump Presidency

Today, Dom Giordano led off the Dom Giordano Program by discussing today being a historic day, as Donald Trump finishes out his term as President and President-Elect Joe Biden takes office as the 46th President of the United States. First, Giordano reflects upon Inauguration Day four years ago and tells what the station did as President Trump was sworn in as the 45th President. Then, Giordano previews what he believes will unfold during a Biden presidency, offering examples of reported upcoming executive orders. Also, Giordano reveals which sports teams had the most success during each presidency, and tells how Joe Biden’s workout habits could potentially spell trouble.

Biden's Message Of Unity Is Off-Base

In the second hour, Giordano led off by continuing the conversation about Joe Biden’s workout habits, asking listeners who they think should be the personal trainer of the new President. Then, Giordano discusses the media’s coverage and District Attorney office’s response to a murder of a 20-year-old Philadelphian in Brewerytown. After that, Giordano turns back to national politics, arguing that Biden’s message of unity will fall on deaf ears while the Left continues to silence any viewpoint opposing their own. Giordano plays back a clip of Stanley McChrystal, who says the problem in our society is white males reacting to lost privilege, drawing comparisons between Trump supporters and KKK members.

How Will The Media Treat The Biden Administration?

In today’s final hour, Giordano leads off by asking listeners how they think the mainstream media will cover the Biden administration, and discusses the public judgement of Melania Trump’s attire while leaving the White House. Dom plays back a clip of Jim Acosta on CNN earlier today, who was hilariously drowned out by music while giving a field report of the setup down in Washington for Biden’s inauguration. After that, Giordano discusses the notion of Trump leaving a note for Biden, wondering what it’d have to say, and talks about Biden’s Catholicism.
