(670 The Score) Bulls center Luke Kornet underwent surgery to address a sinus obstruction Monday, the team announced.

Kornet originally suffered a broken nose last Dec. 19, when he was playing for the Knicks. The Bulls didn't reveal a timetable for Kornet's return.

Kornet, 24, is averaging 4.0 points and 1.9 rebounds in 11.6 minutes across 10 games. He was playing on the second unit early in the season but had fallen out of the rotation lately, as coach Jim Boylen instead utilized a three-man rotation among his big men.
