(670 The Score) Brad Childress is back to work with Matt Nagy, hired by the Bears as a senior offensive assistant.

Childress, 62, spent part of last offseason working on the Bears' coaching staff after Nagy, a close friend, was hired as head coach. Childress left with intentions of coaching in the now-defunct Alliance of American Football but never did so. Childress and Nagy had previously worked together in Kansas City for five seasons.

Childress has coached in the NFL for 20 years, including five seasons as head coach of the Vikings from 2006-'10. He's a native of nearby Aurora, Illinois.
