(670 The Score) The Bears have re-signed long snapper Patrick Scales on a one-year deal, the team announced Wednesday afternoon.

Scales, 31, has been with the Bears organization since the 2015 season. He played in all 16 regular-season games in 2018 after missing the previous season with a torn ACL suffered during that preseason.

The Bears have secured two-thirds of their specialists group with Scales and punter Pat O'Donnell signed to new deals this offseason. The team is still seeking its next kicker after releasing Cody Parkey.
