Adam, 28, had a 2.91 ERA and 1.15 WHIP in 23 appearances for Toronto last season. He has a 4.83 ERA in 54 appearances across two MLB seasons. He has struck out 9.2 batters and walked 4.2 batters per nine innings in his career.
