(670 The Score) The Cubs have reached an agreement to sign righty reliever Brad Brach, Ken Rosenthal of the Athletic reported Thursday.

The deal is for one year and $3 million, Jeff Passan of ESPN reported.

Brach, 32, had a 3.59 ERA and 1.60 WHIP in 69 appearances split between the Orioles and Braves in 2018. He struck out 8.6 batters per nine innings and walked 4.0 batters per nine innings.

Brach has a career 3.08 ERA and 1.28 WHIP across eight big league seasons. He was an All-Star in 2016.

The deal is pending a physical.
