(670 The Score) The turnover on the Cubs' coaching staff has started after they implemented David Ross as their new manager.

Third-base coach Brian Butterfield and strength and conditioning coach Tim Buss will join new Angels manager Joe Maddon in Los Angeles, sources told Bruce Levine of 670 The Score. Butterfield will coach third base for the Angels, while Buss will join them in a quality assurance role.

Butterfield served as the Cubs' third-base coach for the past two seasons. Buss had been with the Cubs since 2001 in various roles.

The Cubs are working on filling out Ross' staff after they introduced him Monday. Given that he has no managerial experience, they want to add experienced coaches around him, particularly at bench coach. The expectation is Mark Loretta won't return in his role as the Cubs' bench coach.
