(670 The Score) The Bears are adding reinforcements to their offensive line, claiming guard Logan Stenberg off waivers from the Lions.
Stenberg, 26, played in 25 games and started in four over three seasons with the Lions. He was a fourth-round pick to Detroit in the 2020 NFL Draft.
The Bears have seen their depth on the interior offensive line tested early in training camp. Guards Nate Davis and Lucas Patrick have been sidelined with apparent injuries, and second-year offensive lineman Ja'Tyre Carter has been forced to step in at right guard.
The Bears waived undrafted rookie wide receiver Aron Cruickshank in a corresponding roster move.
The Bears play their preseason opener against the Titans on Saturday at noon CT from Soldier Field.
