(670 The Score) The Bears have re-signed safety DeAndre Houston-Carson to a one-year deal, the team announced Thursday.
Houston-Carson, 27, has been a key special teams player for the Bears since arriving as a sixth-round pick in 2016. He has played 1,277 snaps on special teams over five seasons in the NFL.
Last season, Houston-Carson played 82% of the Bears' snaps on special teams, which accounts for every unit except for field goals.
