(RADIO.COM Sports) The Bears have Seahawks star quarterback Russell Wilson on their mind.

As the Bears continue their quarterback search this offseason, they're making figuring out a potential trade for Wilson their top priority, Brad Biggs of the Chicago Tribune reported Friday evening.. Wilson hasn't demanded a trade from Seattle but has expressed unhappiness with the organization, and Chicago is among the short list of four teams that he'd accept a trade to, his agent said.

Wilson, 32, is a seven-time Pro Bowler who threw for 4,212 yards, 40 touchdowns and 13 interceptions in 2020. Coming off back-to-back 8-8 regular seasons, Bears general manager Ryan Pace and coach Matt Nagy are in need of a successful 2021 season to secure their jobs, and they know finding an answer at quarterback is crucial.

While acknowleding he has no inside information, former Bears offensive lineman Kyle Long expressed the belief that the team will go all in for Wilson or Texans star quarterback Deshaun Watson.

“It’s a quarterback-driven league, and I think Ryan understands that,” Long said on the Parkins & Spiegel Show on 670 The Score. “I think Matt understands that IU think they will stop at nothing to make sure they bring in a guy who they think will catapult them to the playoffs year in and year out.”

Mitchell Trubisky has been the Bears’ primary quarterback since they drafted him with the No. 2 overall pick in 2017, but he's set to become a free agent after four seasons of inconsistency in Chicago.

Seattle hasn't indicated it plans to trade Wilson. If the Seahawks were to entertain offers, the Bears would need to put together quite a haul -- probably including multiple first-round picks -- to land Wilson.
