(670 The Score) The Blackhawks have signed forward Ryan Donato to a two-year, $4-million deal, the team announced Saturday afternoon.
Donato, 27, had 27 points (14 goals, 13 assists) in 71 games for the Seattle Kraken last season. He has 135 points in 325 career NHL games.
“Ryan adds depth and versatility to our team and will complement our forward group well,” Blackhawks general manager Kyle Davidson said in a statement. “He will be a great addition to our system.”
Donato was originally selected by the Bruins in the second round of the 2014 NHL Draft.
