The Philadelphia Phillies are in Chicago this week to face the Cubs, Schwarber’s former team. He’s familiar with their manager, Ross, who was teammates with Schwarber during his time in Chicago as a player – which included the Cubs' championship campaign in 2016.

During the Cubs' win Tuesday, Ross sent some boos from the dugout Schwarber's way as he stepped up to the plate. Schwarber saw it later online, and he made sure to return the favor during the game Wednesday.

Credit to Schwarber for being able to maintain a sense of humor as the Phillies try to keep hold of their grip on the final wild-card spot with the Brewers close behind.

The Cubs and Phillies will wrap up their series Thursday, at which point we’ll see if either Schwarber or Ross tries to get the last laugh.
